Gunar Yadi
Co-Founder & Owner
Before founding EuroInsight Institute and Consultancy, he had accumulated extensive knowledge and experience as well as garnered excellent expertise and built a solid network in the area of education and studies on the interplay between the European Union and Indonesia. With hands-on experience in managing distance education programmes, he has been a freelance expert for AQAS, an international accreditation agency based in Germany for the labour market in languages and education clusters. Raised as a Minangkabau of mixed ancestry, he is an educator by training and profession who has a keen interest in history. Beyond that, he was also trained in the field of European Law and Policy in which he occasionally presented his thoughts on the relationship broadly between the Orient and the Occident with a focus on Indonesia and the European Union. Throughout their rich history, the interaction between the East and the West resulted in cyclic periods of suppression, conflict, peace and prosperity. This dynamic world creates and eventually has evolved to become dependent on interdependence. His conviction is that a healthy global interdependence should be based on information and knowledge of both sides. Only by means of improved mutual understanding and trust a robust bridge of collaboration would rise through which the inflows and outflows of prosperity could alternate between the East and the West. Again this backdrop, capacity building of human capital will be the core and dispensable part of this mutual, balanced, and collaborative endeavour.
